About NBS-Review

NBS-Review was started at the beginning of April 2006 as a way for the three of us (Brett, Richard and Hiren) just chat and rant about the technology topics of the time that interest us. At first we just did it for a laugh, but then decided we could actually pull something together that meant something - so we got serious with editing and actually have a site now (May 2006) where our podcasts will be centralised.

It’s not your typical review site, in the way we don’t actually “review” anything in particular and give it a grade. It’s more of a discussion between a few regulars (+ guests). We try to discuss not only the technology, but the effect on the consumer, business, the future… wherever the conversation takes us.

NBS has built up a small but loyal listener group and our main focus is now getting orgainised and trying to reach more people. We would like to thank all of you who read and/or listen for feeling we’re interesting enough to burn a bit of your time. We hope what you hear/read is something that we all feel is lacking in the industry today: a more macroscopic view, getting away from just which kit is good.
