The Future of NBS Review

18 January 2007

It is with great sadness that I have to inform you all that the NBS Review crew will no longer be producing any more episodes of the podcast for the foreseeable future. From the very start of this project all the decisions we have made have been joint decisions between the three of us (Hiren, Brett and Richard) this again is a mutual decision.

There are many reasons both personal and professional for stopping the podcast which I won’t get into here. This website will continue to be maintained and you can still access all of our shows here.

Finally we would like to thank all of our listeners and contributors for their time and support. When NBS Review does return it will be worth the wait.

Small Delay with Episode 18

06 November 2006

Just to let all our listeners know we have been attempting to update and improve our recording methods using some new hardware and software for the lastest episode of NBS Review. Unfortunately this has lead to some teething problems.

Never fear, the lastest episode of NBS will be released this week, so watch this space.

Strange Search Results Bring People Here!

08 September 2006

Some wierd stuff people have searched for and get routed to our site, include:

Swearing problem - Brett, I imagine.

Amateures Spanish Feet - No clue and I don’t want to ask.

New hand baggage restricitions - Since we’re obviously the first place to discuss this

Reheating pie - Hiren to answer for.

knights of the old republic 1 - nude bastila mod, kotor nude bastila mod, bastila naked mod - Someone REALLY wanted to see some naked Jedi!

The Message Seems To Be Getting Through

16 June 2006

NBS 65% use Firefox

Hopefully we’re on for this weekend as well, with plus one.

- Richard

We have also had another message getting through…feedback for Episode 7 has been, well, less than positive. We thank those of you who sucked it up and listened on anyway, following us into Ep. 8, which seems to have been one of the best we’ve released so far. I hope we continue that trend, but at the very least we now know what to do and NOT to do with guests. :)

Anyhow, for those of you who took a moment to drop a line or let us know your thoughts on the issue, it’s greatly appreciated. And for those who keep listening through our own learning curve, thanks even more!

Now Working In Internet Explorer

07 June 2006

A big thanks to my good friend Paul of Cymrudigidol Digital for fixing the site to work in IE. Apparently it was a rather simple problem in the end. I won’t go into detail here due to sheer embarrassment.

I’ve Managed To Totally Screw Up Podpress.

03 June 2006

Woo.

In my infiniate wisdom I updated it to the latest podpress (of the time, then between my downloading and updating two update revisions came out), and have managed to totally screw up ALL podcast downloads and streams. Great. So much for an early night.

EDIT: Fixed, for now.

- Richard

On a semi-related note, it has come to our attention that the site doesn’t display properly in Internet Explorer. Since we all of us use Opera and Firefox we generally can’t be bothered to fix it. So we suggest you live with the site as is or change to a browser that works.
